Hey all,

At the request of a large group of members, we will be rescheduling tonight's meeting (11/25) for next week Monday, 12/1 @ 6:30 at the Math Department. I will have signs posted as to meeting location, and I'll send an additional reminder e-mail with details over the weekend.

Additionally, SGA has allocated all of its funds for the fall, and we were not able to get catering for the winter commencement meeting. We have a couple options for food, either using club funds for some appetizers, or organizing a pot luck type of dinner. If you are interested in bringing a dish, let me know. Depending on that feedback I'll inform later as to the format for the 12th.

This is just a reminder that our next club meeting is today, October 27th, in Cone 112A from 6:30 to about 7:30. Tommy will be giving a brief presentation on what you need to do to become the best actuarial candidate upon graduation. He will also be handing out sample resume's, as well as guidelines for your own resume practices. Refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there!

The end of semester graduation celebration will now be held in the Student Union, room 265, at 6:30 pm Friday April 25th.

This semester's featured speaker is Ms. Tonya Manning, Society of Actuaries president emeritus and current actuary at the Department of Treasury. We will recap last semester's events, announce new officers, and celebrate graduates. Dinner will be served during the celebration.
