Chicago kids don’t have to go hungry this summer. CPS is serving FREE meals to ALL children ages 1–18 — and you don’t need an ID to get them. 🙌🏾
Here’s what you need to know:
📍 Two types of locations:
• 🟠 LunchStop Sites — Free outdoor lunch at select schools
• 🔵 In-School Sites — Free meals at schools running summer programs (breakfast AND lunch!)
📅 Dates & times vary by location — check your nearest site FIRST
👦🏾 Kids must be present — parents cannot pick up on their behalf
🍽️ Meals must be eaten onsite

You are invited to attend a Community Budget Feedback Session. These five meetings (four in-person,
one virtual) will be a chance for stakeholders to learn about the 2026-2027 school year budget and
provide feedback. Each meeting will include an update from district leaders on the budget as well as a
roundtable discussion. We deeply value your feedback from all CPS engagements this year. Your input
continues to be crucial as we work to strengthen our schools. The schedule for these events is below. The
goal of these meetings will be to:
● Explain the CPS budget and its impact on the student experience;
● Discuss options that will allow CPS to build on our students’ outstanding progress, both next
school year and in the future.
● All sessions will include Spanish and ASL translation, and participants planning to attend the
Community Feedback Sessions should RSVP at this link.

Camp Courage is back! This year, the free program will expand to seven sites across Chicago, serving participants ages 13–18. Camp Courage provides youth with hands-on training in emergency preparedness, lifesaving skills, and career exploration in public safety.
