Our recent Garbage Truck project at Village of North Riverside Parks & Recreation introduced a fascinating design puzzle: structural self-defense. To stop a continuous drive from breaking the model apart once it hits a physical limit, students configured a mechanical force control system that allows the transmission to slip safely at maximum resistance. 🚛
