This Teacher Appreciation Week, we have a bittersweet announcement — we are saying farewell to one of the most passionate, dedicated educators we have ever had the privilege of knowing, our beloved ESL instructor, Robert de Oliveira.
Shaped by his own journey, he brought something truly rare to his classroom — he didn't just teach English, he understood what it meant to need it. His students weren't just learners to him; they were his people, and he advocated for them fiercely both inside and outside the classroom.
Throughout a remarkable career in education — spanning many roles, many classrooms, and countless lives changed — he never lost his fire. You could feel his passion the moment he walked in the room.
And now? He and his partner are off on the adventure of a lifetime — traveling the world. Could there be a more perfect chapter for a man who devoted his life to bridging cultures and languages? We think not.
We will miss you more than words can say. Thank you for everything you poured into this program and into every student who walked through that door. Go live your beautiful life — you have more than earned it. ❤️
Bon voyage, and avec tout notre amour! 🇫🇷
