Exciting news, Distinctive Schools families! Join us in officially welcoming Distinctive leaders: Ms. Yvonne Glenn – Principal of CICS Prairie, Mr. Samuel Lee – Principal of CICS Bucktown, and Mr. Terrence Davis – Principal of CICS Longwood High School! 🎉

Ms. Glenn has been an integral member of the CICS Prairie community for nearly two decades, with instructional and leadership experience. Ms. Glenn served as the Interim Principal this school year, and we are thrilled to formally name her the Principal of CICS Prairie. 🍎

Mr. Lee, new to the Distinctive Schools team, brings more than 15 years of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and school leader. Throughout his career, he has been deeply committed to building strong school communities where students feel known, challenged, supported, and inspired to grow. 🌱

Mr. Davis has been a member of the Distinctive Schools community for three years, serving as an assistant principal, director of high school, and, most recently, resident principal for both CICS Longwood Elementary and High School. Mr. Davis believes in fostering an environment of rigorous learning that empowers all learners to take ownership of their future.📚

We continue to celebrate our students as graduation season comes to a close! Our Kindergarteners have completed their first year in school, our 8th graders are moving up to high school, and our Longwood High School seniors have created a legacy they are sure to carry into the next stage of their lives! 🥳
