St. Gabriel School has been blessed to have Deacon Raymond Grieshaber as part of our community over the past several months. Through his kindness, faith, and dedication to serving others, he has touched the lives of so many parishioners, students, and families.

As Deacon Raymond prepares to be ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago on June 20, we offer our heartfelt congratulations and prayers. We are grateful for the time he spent with us and for the example of faith and service he shared each day.

May God continue to bless Fr. Raymond as he begins this new chapter of his vocation. We know he will be a wonderful priest and a blessing to all those he serves.

Although school is out for the summer, we're still reminiscing about one of our favorite end-of-the-year projects, the Egg Drop Science Experiment! This exciting event is something our 4th and 5th graders look forward to every year. Working in teams, students put their engineering skills to the test as they designed and built protective carriers for their eggs. The ultimate challenge? Surviving a drop from our third floor window!

Students watched in amazement as each project came gliding, floating, and tumbling safely to the ground. We are proud to report that every group successfully protected their egg, with no cracks to be found! Great job to all of our young engineers for their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Check out these photos from this year's egg-cellent adventure! 🥚🚀🔬

Today we celebrate the last day of school at St. Gabriel School! 🎉☘️

As we close another incredible school year, we want to thank our students, families, faculty, and staff for making this year so special. From classroom learning and school Masses to field trips, performances, service projects, and countless memories made along the way, it has been a year filled with growth, friendship, and faith.

We are so proud of all that our Shamrocks have accomplished this year. We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer break. Thank you for a wonderful school year—we can't wait to see you again in the fall!
