💙✨ Saying Goodbye to Our Student Helper, Matilda ✨💙

Our students and staff are saying goodbye to Matilda from NSP , an organization on the University of Chicago campus. Matilda has been an incredible support to Ms. V2 and our 3rd grade students, helping with everything from one-on-one tutoring and classroom activities to lending a helping hand wherever needed.
Her kindness, patience, and dedication have made a meaningful impact in our classroom community, and she will truly be missed. Thank you, Matilda, for the time, care, and support you shared with our students. We wish you all the best in your next journey! 💙👏🌟

🍓☀️ Our rising 2nd graders are Berry Excited for summer and celebrating all of the growth they've made this year! From learning new skills and building confidence to creating memories and reaching new milestones, our students have worked so hard and should be incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.
We are excited to see all the amazing things they will continue to do as they head into 2nd grade! 💙💛✨

🍕✨ Last month our 3rd–5th grade students celebrated National Pizza Day! ✨🍕

A special thank you to Ms. V and Ms. V2's brother for helping make the day extra special by hand-delivering pizzas to our students! The smiles, excitement, and full bellies made for a fun celebration and a memorable day for everyone. 💙💛🍕

🐝 4th–5th Grade Spelling Bee 🐝

Our 4th and 5th grade students worked hard studying words from their vocabulary groups, and all of that preparation led to our 3rd Annual Spelling Bee! With staff members and our 3rd grade students cheering them on, participants confidently took the stage and showed off their amazing spelling skills.
To wrap up this exciting event, students enjoyed watching Akeelah and the Bee — what a perfect ending to a day celebrating hard work, determination, and the power of words! 🌟👏

Who says the fun and creativity can't happen in aftercare? Our students put their imagination to work while creating their very own binoculars and having a blast along the way! Learning, creating, and exploring continue long after the school day ends because fun never stops at STA! 💙💛
