McCormick’s story has unfolded across neighborhoods—from Lincoln Park to Hyde Park—but our identity has never been defined by a building or an address.

For nearly two centuries, McCormick students, faculty, and alumni have stood alongside communities seeking justice, dignity, and liberation. From supporting Chicago’s Puerto Rican community in the 1960s, to walking with Black communities in the ongoing struggle for racial justice, to advocating for anyone seeking welcome, safety, and belonging today. Our faith has always called us into the public square.

Because theological education is not simply about what we believe. It is about how we show up.

La historia de McCormick se ha desarrollado a través de los vecindarios —desde Lincoln Park hasta Hyde Park—, pero nuestra identidad nunca ha sido definida por un edificio o una dirección.
