Chicago Friends School

During last week's graduation ceremony each graduate was introduced by a community member of their choosing, and then gave brief remarks. After this we went into a period of Quaker silence, during which anyone could stand and offer well wishes, memories, or other thoughts to the graduates.

Before the school year finished, we all walked over to Foster Beach for our annual field day, featuring relay races, limbo, a water balloon toss, and the much-anticipated "tug of peace"

In preparation for giving their reports about rainforest creatures, our 2nd and 3rd grade students made a rainforest mural in art class including each animal they were reporting on. .
