Congratulations to Whitney White ’04 on another historic achievement! 🎭✨

Earlier this month, Whitney became the first Black woman to earn two Tony Award nominations for Best Direction of a Play, and was the only woman nominated in the category this year.

Her direction of Liberation, written by Bess Wohl, helped the production earn five Tony Award nominations, including a win for Best Play. The play was also awarded the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

This year’s commencement featured many alumni, with Ryan Allen ’95 and Nick Baer ’96 presenting diplomas and addressing the class, and Crystal Marshall ’01 congratulating each graduate and presenting the Dorothy Hammett Award.

Senior Class Luncheon 2026
Yesterday’s Senior Class Luncheon was the perfect send-off for the class of 2026. Mr. McArthur delivered a fantastic speech to the class, students heard from the president of the Alumni Board, Jeff Braun ’71, and class reps presented Ryan Allen ’95 with their class gift. Thank you to the class reps, yearbook editors, and superlative creators for all your hard work!
