Once Upon a Book Fair was a storybook success at Christopher House! Last month, our halls were filled with excitement as scholars explored new stories, discovered favorite characters, and built their home libraries through the joy of reading.

From page-turning adventures to inspiring imagination and curiosity, the book fair reminded us of the power books have to open new worlds for young readers. Thank you to everyone who helped make this magical event possible and encouraged a lifelong love of learning through literacy.

Last week, we celebrated the incredible teachers and staff who make Christopher House such a joyful, supportive, and inspiring place to learn and grow every day!

From popcorn treats and a taco lunch to succulent decorating, bagels, and an ice cream social, it was a week full of gratitude, creativity, and connection — all in honor of the educators and team members who give so much to our scholars and families.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our 35th Annual Benefit, raising funds in support of the 1,500+ children and families we support each and every year. Thanks to our supporters and generous sponsors, we raised over $550,000 towards our mission!

Earlier this month, we celebrated the Week of the Young Child by bringing the joy of storytelling into our classrooms 📚

Families joined us to read with their children, creating meaningful moments of connection and learning. Little ones lit up as they followed along with familiar stories, proudly sharing the experience side-by-side with their loved ones.
