Great change of direction isn’t just about moving your feet faster.

As athletes progress, hip rotation becomes a critical piece of multidirectional speed. Learning how to rotate, redirect force, and reaccelerate efficiently takes practice, coaching, and quality reps.

These athletes are building explosive agility and change-of-direction skills through technical speed work and VertiMax jump training.

Top speed isn’t built by running full speed all the time.

It’s built by mastering the positions that make speed possible.

In this video, we’re using three simple drills to reinforce:
✔️ Posture
✔️ Front-side mechanics
✔️ Arm action
✔️ Rhythm and timing

The athletes who become the fastest are usually the ones who spend the most time perfecting the basics.

Quality reps. Patience. Attention to detail.

That’s how speed is built.

Speed isn’t built by doing more. It’s built by doing the little things better.

Every great athlete learns that quality reps matter. Before we sprint faster, jump higher, or change direction quicker, we need to master the fundamentals.

In this drill, the wall provides feedback and teaches proper arm action—one of the most overlooked skills in speed development. Patience, attention to detail, and consistent repetition create movement patterns that transfer to the field, court, track, and ice.

Fast athletes aren’t made by accident. They’re built one quality rep at a time.

Why should a teen athlete strength train?

Because sports reward athletes who can produce force, absorb force, and stay healthy.

Strength training helps teen athletes:
✅ Run faster
✅ Jump higher
✅ Change direction more efficiently
✅ Improve balance and body control
✅ Build confidence
✅ Reduce injury risk
✅ Develop lifelong movement skills

The goal isn’t to make young athletes bodybuilders. It’s to help them move better, perform better, and build a stronger foundation for sport and life.

Strong athletes are more resilient athletes.

Speed starts with acceleration.

Before an athlete can run fast, they need to learn how to create force, project their body forward, and take powerful first steps.

This acceleration drill helps young athletes develop better mechanics, improve explosiveness, and build the foundation for faster sprinting in every sport.

🏀 Handle Pressure. Keep the Dribble.

These athletes are doing more than just ball-handling drills.

The Swiss ball dribble challenge teaches athletes to maintain posture, core stability, and control while managing external pressure.

The Pallof Press variation develops anti-rotation strength—helping athletes resist unwanted movement and create a stronger, more stable foundation for speed, change of direction, and sport performance.

A strong athlete isn't just fast or skilled. They can stay organized, balanced, and controlled when the game gets chaotic.

Strong spine. Stay stable.
