What an incredible weekend of reunions we had last week!

Things kicked off with the annual Summer Soiree. Thank you Charcuterie Creations and Bartender with a Smile for joining us. And a special Thank You to those from the Classes of '76, '96, and '06 for all of their time and dedication to help make these memories possible.

Here’s to more moments of joy and sisterhood!

Last Friday, we were honored to welcome back the Mount Notre Dame Class of 1976 to celebrate their 50th Reunion and official induction into the Golden Guild. This event is a beautiful MND tradition that marks this milestone with reverence and joy. The day began with a class-led prayer service and a special Golden Guild Pinning Ceremony, where each alumna was presented with a commemorative pin in recognition of fifty years of faith-filled impact and enduring MND sisterhood. Classes who have already reached their Golden Guild year also participated and shared in the sisterhood. Following the ceremony, classmates gathered for a special luncheon and enjoyed a walk-through of campus, reflecting on treasured memories while experiencing the many ways MND continues to grow and thrive. We are deeply grateful to our Golden Guild alumnae for their continued example of what it means to Learn, Live, Lead, and Serve in the spirit of Saint Julie Billiart and MND!

Yesterday we celebrated the recipients of the 2026 St. Julie Billiart Catholic Leadership Award, honoring an alumna and graduating senior who embody a deep commitment to Jesus Christ through leadership, service, and faith in action.

Congratulations to Mrs. Rachael Meyer Laurin ’08 and Ava Moser ’26. 💙

Mrs. Rachael Meyer Laurin ’08 is a beautiful example of this year’s theme, Caritas - love in action. Rachael lives her faith through service and leadership within her parish community and through her support of local Catholic organizations. From capturing First Communion portraits to creating promotional materials for ministries serving others, she uses her gifts to highlight the beauty of faith and community. Through programs she created and leads, Rachael creates spaces where mothers can support and empower one another while remaining rooted in faith.

Rachael’s practice of Caritas extended further when she opened her home to host a visiting priest from Ghana who was attending a conference in Columbus, which led to a strong family bond.

At MND, Ava Moser ’26 has modeled what it means to walk with Christ in everyday life. Over the past three years, she has served as a leader in Worship Commission, helping plan Masses, prayer services, and school-wide liturgical initiatives with dedication and care. Ava has also served as a Morning Scripture Service leader, Kairos rector and leader, YPC leader, Eucharistic Minister, choir member, and active participant in Campus Ministry. In her parish community at Nativity, she has faithfully served for years as a server, Extraordinary Minister of Communion, and choir member. Whether at school, church, or in daily interactions, Ava reflects the love of Christ in all she does.

Congratulations, Rachael and (soon-to-be alumna) Ava, and thank you for being inspiring examples of faith-filled leadership in our community!

✨Alumnae Spotlight✨

Today we're celebrating Emma Magness '22. Emma is a senior at the United States Naval Academy and recently helped her team win the coveted Annapolis Cup. This is the second consecutive win for the Navy over the St. John's College Johnnies. Emma is pictured with the former Secretary of the Navy.

Congratulations to Emma on her team's victory and her graduation from the Naval Academy!

The Summer Soiree is just a few weeks away! Join us back on campus as we celebrate the class of 1996, 2001, 2016, and 2021. It will be a great night of catching up, celebration, and fun.
