OLLI and the University of Cincinnati will be closed today in honor of Juneteenth.
OLLI’s Community Engagement Committee invites you to help celebrate the end of slavery in the United States by attending the 2026 Juneteenth Festival!
Admission to the Juneteenth Festival is free and open to the public.
Date: Sat and Sun, June 20th & 21st in Eden Park.
Organized since 1988 by Juneteenth Cincinnati, this joyous family event features live music, food, and entertainment. Over 25 performances on two stages will reflect the shared heritage within the African diaspora. Genres include blues, jazz, R&B, Latin jazz, African dancing, and the Voices of Freedom poetry slam. Festival goers can visit, learn, and shop with 50 vendors and exhibitors. Vendors offer a wide selection, including hot dogs, ribs, chicken, Asian fusion, fish, lobster, sundaes, and funnel cakes.

An intergenerational group gathered for a pre-show luncheon and insider talk, then attended a Thursday matinee of The Lion King at the Aronoff. Thanks to Broadway in Cincinnati and Arts Association for a wonderful event!
