Did you know the Xavier Leadership Center has been developing Cincinnati’s leaders for 60 years?

Long before we were XLC, we were the Center for Management and Professional Development and in 1981, we found our permanent home in Xavier’s Business School Building. Designated seminar rooms, a new identity, and an expanding catalog of programs helped establish us as a cornerstone of professional development in the region.

We’re celebrating 60 years of impact this year. Stay tuned as we look back at the milestones that made us who we are today.

We recently had the pleasure of partnering with Federal Home Loan Bank for a private Understanding DiSC program, led by XLC facilitator Ben McCall!

Through this hands-on session, participants gained deeper insight into their own behavioral styles and learned practical strategies for strengthening communication and collaboration across their teams.

XLC’s Leveraging AI with Critical Thinking is a half-day program on June 23rd that teaches you how to get the most out of AI tools by pairing them with strong critical thinking skills. You’ll walk away knowing how to craft better prompts, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and turn raw results into trusted, decision-ready information.

We had a fantastic afternoon with the Xavier University Division for Strategic Enrollment Management!

XLC facilitator Mike Koch led the group through a half-day workshop centered on productivity, time management, and prioritization, equipping the SEM team with strategies to make the most of their time and energy every single day.
