The NSU-Tampa Doctor of Physical Therapy Graduation Awards Ceremony was held on May 12, 2026, bringing together faculty, families, and friends to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the DPT Class of 2026.

We are proud to recognize Madelyn Becza, recipient of the Dean’s Award, and Matthew Eady, who received the President’s Award. Four students were recognized by the ACAPT National Honor Society, and graduates earning honors were also celebrated for their academic excellence.

In addition, we celebrate our student officers for their dedication and outstanding service throughout the program. Congratulations to all our graduates on this significant milestone!

Our NSU Tampa DPT students and faculty had a great time providing fitness screens for Special Olympics athletes over the weekend at the Special Olympics Florida State Fall Classic. Students had the opportunity to complete valuable assessments of strength, range of motion, flexibility, balance, and endurance.
Our team was part of a multidisciplinary Special Olympics Florida Healthy Athletes initiative that, together, provided more than 2,700 screens!

🎉 Special Olympics Summer Games 2025 Success! 🎉
Our amazing NSU Tampa DPT students and faculty had the privilege of supporting the Special Olympics Florida Summer Games by providing FUNfitness screenings for the athletes. With the help of dedicated volunteers, over 3,600 health screenings were completed! 💪🏽👏
Our DPT students gained hands-on experience assessing strength, endurance, and mobility, while cheering on the incredible athletes.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success! 💙
