🐛🌿 Bug Camp was a week full of tiny discoveries, big curiosity, and so much wonder!
We started our adventure underground with ants — learning about insect anatomy, colonies, and how these tiny creatures work together. Then we explored the incredible diversity of beetles and grasshoppers, discovering exoskeletons, life cycles, and the amazing details you can find when you slow down and look closely.
We turned our bug world upside down when we discovered spiders aren’t insects at all! 🕷️ Our campers learned about arachnids and even met a jumping spider with beautiful teal “fangs” that helped many see these creatures in a whole new way.
We ended our week with butterflies, moths, and dragonflies — learning about transformation, delicate wings, and the magic of their life cycles. Our final adventure at the May Natural History Museum brought everything together with a bug scavenger hunt, special bug rocks, and one last celebration of all we discovered.
This week wasn’t just about learning bugs — it was about curiosity, confidence, compassion, and learning to notice the tiny wonders all around us.
Watching their excitement, questions, and discoveries unfold was the best part of our week. 🐜🦋🌎

What an amazing 25–26 school year at Rocky Mountain Enrichment! ❤️💙
We wrapped up the year with an incredible Field Day celebration filled with laughter, friendship, and community. From fun field games and bounce house adventures to custom balloon animals and playground fun, the day was packed with smiles from start to finish!
We also held a special mini graduation where we recognized and celebrated our preschoolers, kindergartners, and fifth graders as they move on to their next exciting chapter. We are so proud of each and every one of them! 🎓✨
Families gathered together for a big picnic, explored the greenhouse, played together, and continued building the friendships and connections that make our community so special.
Thank you to all of our amazing students, families, and staff for making this school year unforgettable. We can’t wait to see what 26–27 brings for our Rocky Mountain Enrichment families! 🌟
