Chinook Trail Community,
Please join me in welcoming Robin Birringer as the new Assistant Principal of Chinook Trail Elementary!
Mrs. Birringer brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership, having served as an assistant principal for the past four years. Most recently, she supported students, staff, and families at Meridian Ranch Elementary in District 49 and previously at Swigert Middle School in District 11. Her educational career also includes serving as a Dean of Students and Library Technology Educator at Swigert, as well as classroom teaching positions at Trailblazer Elementary and Ivywild Elementary in District 11.
Robin earned her Masters of Education from Grand Canyon University and her Bachelors of Arts in Education from Regis University. She and her husband, Joe, are proud parents of one son and three daughters, all of whom are now adults and living their best lives. Their family also includes a lively collection of pets and hobbies, including dogs, cats, chickens, and even bees!
Throughout the interview process, Mrs. Birringer impressed our teams with her unwavering commitment to building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations for all students, fostering collaborative partnerships with staff and families, and creating a positive, student-centered school culture. Her enthusiasm, warmth, and genuine excitement about joining the Chinook Trail community were evident in every conversation.
I was particularly impressed by her collaborative leadership style and her passion for supporting both student achievement and staff success. She brings positive energy, a growth mindset, and a dedication to continuous improvement that will make her an asset to our school and a great addition to our leadership team.
When asked what she is most looking forward to, Mrs. Birringer shared:
“I am excited to join the Chinook Trail Elementary community because of its strong commitment to students, families, and staff. From the moment I learned more about the school, I was drawn to the culture of belonging, collaboration, and high expectations for all students.”
Please join me in giving Mrs. Birringer a warm Tiger welcome. We are excited about the impact she will have on our students, staff, and families, and we look forward to the many ways she will help our school community continue to thrive.
Welcome to the Tiger family, Mrs. Birringer!

On Friday, Chinook Trail Middle and Chinook Trail Elementary came together for a truly special Unified Soccer game. Students were paired with peer partners for an afternoon filled with teamwork, encouragement, laughter, compassion, and joy.
The connections built on the field were a beautiful reminder that inclusion creates stronger communities and that every student belongs, shines, and matters.
