We have lived here for 21 years. I have 2 grown children and a wonderful son in law and am about to be a grandma. We are so very blessed. I home-schooled my two wonderful children and have learned much in the process. I have also found the Lords leading to make sure my family eats healthy. 🌩️ Golf ball-sized hail hit us HARD last night! 😱

Our yard took a beating — check out the damage! Shredded leaves, dents everywhere, and some real casualties from the storm. Mother Nature was NOT playing.

But we’re not getting caught off guard twice… We’re already prepping for round 2 that could roll in tonight! Come see how we’re protecting what’s left.

🌿 Backyard update time! 🐔✨

Just finished our chicken coop addition and it’s a total game-changer for our girls! More space and they’re loving their new digs already.

Good Morning people! The urban farm is very, very busy right now. We have baby chickens, baby ducks, quail eggs in the incubator. Tracy is building things, 🤣. Gardens are happening and I could keep going. I have 2 black runner ducks- males that need a home. They are about 8 weeks and I want them to go together. Message me if interested!

🐣 The next chapter of our urban homestead is beginning!

Today we're starting the process of adding quail to our backyard farm. We just set our very first quail eggs in our new incubator, and now the countdown begins! ⏳🥚

We've raised chickens, ducks, bees, and grown a ton of food in our small backyard, but quail are a brand-new adventure for us. Follow along as we learn, make mistakes, celebrate successes, and hopefully welcome a bunch of tiny quail chicks in the coming weeks.
