Effective immediately, the practice of providing a 90-day advance notification letter for annual inspections has been discontinued. All future annual inspections will be conducted without prior notice to ensure compliance with federal health and safety monitoring requirements.

📢 📢 NEW FINAL RULE ON MILK OPTIONS FOR CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAMS! 📢 📢

Effective June 8, 2026, the USDA will allow schools and child/adult care providers to offer whole and reduced-fat (2%) milk to participants aged 2 and older. The specific guidelines are as follows:
Age-Based Milk Guidelines
• Age 1: Only unflavored whole milk is permitted.
• Ages 2–5: Unflavored whole, 2%, low-fat, or fat-free milk can be offered.
• Ages 6+ and adults: Any option—unflavored or flavored, whole, 2%, low-fat, or fat-free
NOTE: Providers are not required to offer all options
