In exactly 168 hours (one week), our 2026 Graduation Ceremony begins! 🎓 During the ceremony, we will find out which one of these 5 apprentices won the 4th Year WireOff Competition and will represent IEC Southern Colorado at the IEC National Apprentice of the Year Competition.

We are SO excited to announce our new partnership with Colorado Mountain College Salida! Their team has been fantastic to work with, and we’ve found the perfect instructor, along with a few great students. Southern Colorado apprentice wins award, highlights importance of trade industry A local electric apprentice was recently recognized as one of Colorado’s top rising trade professionals.

During National Apprenticeship Week, we had our students participate in 3 guessing games: # of marbles in a container, # of wire nuts in a container, and feet/inches of wire used to make a ball of wire. Congratulations to our winners!
