The digital submission deadline for the upcoming MANY HAPPY RETURNS - A BIRTHDAY EXHIBITION FOR COLORADO AND AMERICA exhibition is JUNE 24th! This will be the third show at the lofty gallery space located on the second floor of COS Airport and stewarded by Cottonwood Center for the Arts. You will find information about the space, entry guidelines and future calls here: https://cottonwoodcenterforthearts.com/art-at-cos
OPEN CALL FOR ENTRIES | Written by Catherine Lee Bates in 1893, America the Beautiful is a poem inspired by the American landscape, and the towering mountain we navigate east vs west by everyday here in Colorado Springs: Pikes Peak. The poem was later paired with the hymn Materna by Samuel A. Ward, becoming the song we know today, a celebration of America’s Mountain, the spirit of unity, our rich and diverse history, and the beauty of this land.
For this call we are asking artists for their interpretation of these concepts, your imagination - and the sky - is the limit.
Don't let your kiddos get....BORED. If only there was something enriching and positive they could enjoy for 12 hours a week. Enter ART SPARK!, Cottonwood's Summer Day Camp made for creative youth ages 6-12.
