Attendance Details:
✏Each family may attend one Backpack Bash event. Multiple events are available throughout Colorado Springs.
✏Students must be present to receive a free backpack.
✏Backpacks will be distributed while supplies last. We encourage families to arrive early, as pre-registration does not reserve a backpack.
✏Free backpacks will be available at the event. School supplies will not be distributed.

We will also have local vendors for family resources, a coffee truck and Kona Ice!

At Boss Babe Networking, we believe every young woman has the potential to be a leader, entrepreneur, and changemaker. Boss Babe Academy provides a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where girls can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and discover their voice while preparing for their future.

Our program combines personal development, entrepreneurship, creativity, and community-building to help young women step into the next level of who they are becoming.

About the Program

Boss Babe Academy helps students develop essential life and leadership skills, including:

✅Effective communication
✅Critical thinking and problem solving
✅Leadership and teamwork
✅Confidence and self-expression
✅Goal setting and vision building
✅Community involvement and service

Students will participate in workshops, group activities, mentorship, and hands-on projects designed to help them grow both personally and professionally.

As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, we took time to celebrate the incredible staff members who have dedicated 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years to Sand Creek High School and D49. Their commitment, passion, and care for our students and community are what make SCHS such a special place.

We also honored three outstanding retirees for their years of service, support, leadership, and friendship along the way: Chief Ben Brown, Joann Kruizenga, and Felipe Ogas. Each of them has left a lasting impact on Sand Creek High School, and they will be deeply missed.

Thank you to all of our milestone honorees and retirees for the countless lives you’ve touched, the memories you’ve created, and the legacy you leave behind. Here’s to celebrating your achievements and wishing our retirees all the best in their next chapter! 💙🦂
