Bishop Ready High School

One of the questions we get asked every summer is, "What does the staff do when the students aren't there?" 🤔

The short answer? Plenty! 😄

From planning events and adjusting calendars to facility improvements and everything in between, there's no shortage of work happening at 707 Salisbury during the summer months.

Today, Mrs. Gramlich and Mrs. Strickland are hard at work finalizing the master schedule so students can be placed into classes for the upcoming school year. It may not be the most glamorous part of the job, but it's one of the most important!

While the halls may be a little quieter, our team is busy preparing for another great year at Bishop Ready.

Congratulations and welcome home to Graham Mills '27 and Leo Racanelli '27!

These Knights recently attended Buckeye Boys State, a week-long program that gives students a unique opportunity to learn about government, leadership, and public service through hands-on experience.

Graham served as the Operations Director of the State Department of Higher Education, while Leo served as a City Councilman.

Both had a great time, learned a lot, and represented Bishop Ready exceptionally well. We are grateful they had the opportunity to participate in this outstanding program and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow as leaders both at Ready and beyond.

🏈 Faith, Family, and Flag Football! 🏈

One of the most special parts of building a program is watching it become a tradition.

Three of our Girls Flag Football coaches have a unique connection to the program. They coached their older daughters as members of Bishop Ready's first flag football team, and now they're watching their younger daughters grow up around the game and prepare to carry on the tradition.

From the sidelines to the field, this program has always been about more than football. It's about faith, family, and creating opportunities for the next generation of Silver Knights.

The future of Ready Flag Football is bright, and it's pretty special to see the legacy already being passed from one generation of Knights to the next!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our VERY FIRST Girls Flag Football Camp! From great catches and touchdown celebrations to learning new skills and building confidence on the field, it was such an exciting and fun day for everyone involved.

We loved seeing so much energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork from all of our athletes as they helped kick off a brand new tradition at Ready.
