When I tell y’all I’m excited for the release of this book, it’s an understatement. The story, the relationships, the learning, the bonding that has come to life during the course of this project with , , and the women of Hillsboro, is truly one of hopes and dreams.

Pre-order this story of 19 Black mothers and 37 Black children who “blazed a trail to justice” by marching for 2 school years to integrate their schools- and prepare to dig into a beautifully written and illustrated book in just a few weeks. The campaign closes Oct 15.
