Bishop Hartley is excited to announce Daniel Clem as Head Boys Lacrosse Coach.
Dan brings more than 15 years of coaching experience, a decorated record of competitive success, and a deep commitment to forming student athletes through leadership, discipline, and community.
Dan became Head Boys Lacrosse Coach at Archbishop Hoban in fall 2010 and has led the program ever since.
This summer, he will lead a free youth lacrosse camp in July, followed by a Meet the Coach event planned for early August. Fall will begin with strength training and open field sessions, with full team engagement ramping up in the spring.
Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, Bishop Hartley will field its first official OHSAA Boys Lacrosse team. As an OHSAA‑sanctioned program, Hartley will compete with a single team.
Please welcome Coach Dan Clem to the Bishop Hartley community.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that Mr. Dominic Dinovo passed away on Sunday, May 31, following a recent medical emergency. Our entire Hartley community is grieving this tremendous loss, and we ask that you join us in holding Dominic and his family in your prayers.
Dominic began his teaching career at Hartley in 1997 and served our school for 29 years as a beloved teacher, campus minister, House dean, and mentor teacher. He was known for his passion for history, his joyful spirit, and his unwavering commitment to helping others. Dominic lived the values we strive to instill in our students—faith, service, humility, and genuine care for the people around him.
As a school rooted in faith, we will continue to surround Dominic’s family, friends, students, and colleagues with support. Thank you for keeping the Dinovo family close in your hearts and prayers.
To honor Dominic’s legacy and his lifelong dedication to our students, his wife Carolyn has established a scholarship in his memory. More information is available at the below link.

Congratulations to three of our seniors, Dawit Tesfaye, Chase Turner, and Sean Byrne who received full rides to The Ohio State University.
Dawit and Chase received the Morrill Scholarship, which offers scholarships and educational enrichment opportunities to academically talented students dedicated to scholarship, leadership, service, and civic engagement. The Morrill Scholarship covers the cost of in-state tuition and fees.
Sean Byrne received the Ohio State Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship which is awarded to students who are Pell-eligible and show academic merit. 176 Ohio students are awarded this each year, with an attempt made to award two students from each county, with awarded amount the full cost of attendance.
Congratulations Dawit, Chase, and Sean. We can’t wait to watch you soar over the next four years.
