Sorry to hear of the passing of Warren George, President of OMEA from 1988-1990.

We are saddened to share news of the passing of CCM Associate Dean Emeritus Warren E. George. Warren served as a member of CCM’s leadership team for more than 30 years, first as head of our Music Education Division from 1977-81 and then as our Associate Dean of Academic Affairs from 1981-2007. Warren also twice served as Interim or Acting Dean of CCM. He passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 90.
