Benji Decker (Graphic Design, 2026) explores Native Sunscapes in collaboration with Gregory Lipps Jr., who coined the term and serves as Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Coordinator at The Ohio State University and Conservation Biologist at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium.

Congratulations to CCAD faculty members Yusef Ferguson and Dana Lynn Harper, whose work is featured in Greater Columbus: The 2026 Visual Arts Fellowship Exhibition at the Columbus Museum of Art. The exhibition highlights some of central Ohio’s most compelling contemporary artists and is on view through Sept. 20.

Congratulations to Allison Grant (Media Studies Still-Based, 2004) on being named a 2026 Guggenheim Fellow. An artist, writer, curator, and educator, Grant’s work explores environmental issues, the connection between the body and the land, and the lived realities of parenthood.
Students in the Furniture Design course were guided by Gweny Jin and John-Drue Worrell to transform ideas into functional pieces through hands-on making and iteration.
