This week, make health and well-being a priority by promoting healthy habits, encouraging open conversations, and supporting those around you.

At this month’s Safety Council of Central Ohio meeting, Marieand Hope shared insights on preparing the next generation of construction workers, with a focus on communication styles, expectations, and company culture in today’s workforce.

They discussed how critical the first 30 days are in shaping new employee success, and how strong mentorship and clear communication can make a lasting impact on safety, performance, and long-term development.

The conversation also reinforced the importance of supportive leadership in building a workforce that is not only skilled, but safe, confident, and prepared for the field.
