Most people store fats like they’re immortal.

They are not. 😄
Your oils, shortening, peanut butter, nuts, and other fats are basically the “high maintenance celebrities” of food storage. They look calm and collected on the shelf… right up until they suddenly turn rancid and betray you emotionally.
