Elite Home Care Conway Day Caenter celebrates St.Patrick’s Day in style!

Today we had a special visitor! Sage came and visited us to give love get lots of pets! We really enjoyed having her while we read the morning news and did exercise.

Today we held our own Special Olympics! Our sports included Basketball, Bocce Ball, Bowling, and an Egg Race! We had tons of fun participating and even won awards! Our results are as follows:

Bocce Ball:
1st Place- William C. with being on the bocce ball
2nd Place- Cornell being 18in away
3rd Place- Joan being 35in away

Basketball:
1st Place- Eric with 16 baskets scored
2nd Place- William C. with 14 baskets scored
And a tie for 3rd Place: Jamie & Jarvis with 9 baskets scored

Bowling:
Each Place was tied!
1st Place- Kelli & Jamie with 16 pins knocked over
2nd Place- Lori & Marcellus with 10 pins knocked over
3rd Place- James & Charles with 9 pins knocked over

Egg Race:
There was a 4 way tie!
1st Place- Eric, Lori, James, & Tina
2nd Place- Joanne
3rd Place- Clarissa

While the judges looked over the activities the participants enjoyed a cold ice cream sandwich and conversed amongst them selves talking about all the fun and showing off past medals from other Special Olympics!

Overall we had a successful and enjoyable day!

Our clients had a BLAST on their first outing since Covid! We went shopping at Dollar General. We all were safe and wore masks inside and enjoyed stretching our legs!

Last week we enjoyed some gross motor fun with the parachute then we did a mini game of kickball. Kickball is truly our favorite activity other than Bingo!

Today for National Egg day our clients and staff participated in an egg race. They had to follow a designated course and try not to drop the egg off the spoon. We had a lot of fun cheering each other on and competing with each other!

Assist elderly/disabled clients with bathroom care, recreational activities, socialization.

Compassionate, caring individuals to work with our Adult Day Care participants. Assist with ADLs, recreation activities. Fun filled workplace.

Fillin for RN Administrator during vacations, sickness, etc.

In honor of Ground Hog Day our clients put together their own treat and looked to see if it could see its own shadow. Sadly they all did. So we ate our groundhogs for predicting more winter. And consensus says they tasted great!!!!
