We’re spotlighting another one of our graduated choristers 👩‍🎓 meet Flo Nieto!

Flo started singing with the MCC in 2022! When reflecting on what she learned in her four years with us, she shared: “⁠I know it sounds cliche but MCC taught me teamwork. Choir is a team “sport” and every voice is needed to make good music.” 👯‍♀️

When she thinks about MCC post-grad, Florencia will think of Liana Salinas 🥰 She says, “She is our leader and such an inspiration to me. I will definitely miss learning from her.”

In the fall, Flo will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a pre law track to hopefully be a lawyer! We miss you already, (flo)rencia nieto! You’ll always be a part of our MCC family.

Now that our performance calendar has slowed down, it’s time to spotlight another one of our graduated choristers 👩‍🎓 meet Katerina Morin!

Kati started singing with the MCC in 2016! When reflecting on what she learned in her 10 years with us, she shared: “One of the most important things MCC has taught me is flexibility: knowing when to blend in and listen to those around me, and when to trust in myself and be confident in my abilities” 🎼

Her favorite MCC memory is the first time we performed in America Viva. Kati remembers: “The energy on the stage was electric and something I will never forget” 💃🏼

Post-graduation, Kati reflects: “When I think about MCC I think about the people. The unforgettable community that has been a constant in my life for the last 10 years. What I will miss the most is not the music itself, but the act of making music with people I love” 🧡

Kati will be double-majoring in music and mechanical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. We miss you already, ! You’ll always be a part of our MCC family.
