For the fifth year, Gospel Voices of Orange County (GVOC) returns to the stage for an unforgettable evening celebrating the rich legacy, resilience, and brilliance of Black history through the power of music, dance, theater, and storytelling.

Founded and produced by Arts & Learning Conservatory under the visionary leadership of Debora Wondercheck, GVOC was created to honor Black artistry while inspiring, educating, and bringing communities together through the performing arts. This year's concert shines a spotlight on the innovators, trailblazers, and changemakers whose contributions have shaped our world.

More than a performance, GVOC reflects ALC's mission to use the arts as a force for education, cultural celebration, and community impact. Every ticket helps support Arts & Learning Conservatory's programs, creating more opportunities for young artists to learn, grow, and thrive.

This year’s powerful production, “A Chorus of Change, A Legacy of Opportunity,” takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through the eras of Black history—celebrating the resilience, innovation, faith, and creativity that have shaped generations and transformed American culture.

Under the visionary leadership of Debora Wondercheck, Gospel Voices of OC continues to bring together music, history, culture, and community in a way that is both meaningful and unforgettable.

Through gospel, jazz, blues, spoken word, theatre, dance, orchestra, and more, the production brings history to life while honoring the extraordinary artists, inventors, and pioneers whose legacies continue to inspire change.

This is more than a performance. It is a celebration of heritage, a living history lesson, and a reminder of the power of the arts to create belonging, confidence, and opportunity.

Proceeds from the evening directly support scholarships and Arts & Learning Conservatory programs, helping young people throughout Southern California discover their voices through the arts.
