🎉📚 A historic milestone for Project GLAD®!

This past Friday, we proudly launched the first-ever CSUF Project GLAD® Foundations Training through the newly established Research & Development Center at Cal State Fullerton (Cal State Fullerton). This exciting step marks a new chapter in expanding access to high-quality professional learning and strengthening the impact of the Project GLAD® model for educators and students alike.

The enthusiasm in the room was undeniable as educators explored the research, theory, and foundational principles that make Project GLAD® such a powerful framework for teaching and learning. From meaningful discussions to new connections and shared inspiration, the energy throughout the training was truly contagious!

🌟 This is just the beginning.

Participants have now moved into the **4-Day Classroom Demonstration**, where they'll experience Project GLAD® strategies in action, observe model lessons, and deepen their understanding of how to bring these practices to life in their own classrooms.

We're incredibly grateful to our partners at Cal State Fullerton and to the dedicated educators who are helping make this inaugural training such a success.

Stay tuned throughout the week as we share highlights from the classroom demonstration and continue celebrating this exciting new chapter for Project GLAD®! 💙✨

💙 This week was filled with celebration, gratitude, and reflection as our Project GLAD® and MAS team gathered to honor Dr. Christie Baird as she prepares to begin her next chapter in retirement.

For four decades, Christie has dedicated her career to supporting students, educators, and educational communities, including 20 years of service with Orange County Department of Ed. Her leadership, thoughtfulness, and unwavering commitment to excellence have left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Christie is known for the positivity, encouragement, and genuine care she brings to every interaction. She has been a trusted colleague, mentor, and friend whose influence has helped shape our work and strengthen our community.

As we celebrate her incredible career, we are reminded of the profound impact one educator can have over a lifetime. While we will certainly miss seeing Christie each day, we are excited for all the adventures, relaxation, and opportunities that await her in retirement.

Please join us in thanking Dr. Christie Baird for her years of dedication and wishing her all the best in this well-earned new chapter. 🌸✨
