The LaPS 2026 Spring Concerto Workshop was incredible. The event consisted of six concerto movements with three hours of rehearsal time plus a performance. Our soloists, ranging from 4th to 12th grade, performed concertos including Vivaldi, Haydn, Accolay, Hoffmeister, Koussevitzky, and Beethoven with orchestral accompaniment!

We are very proud of LaPS student Benjamin Valle for his concerto performance of the 3rd movement of Saint-Saens Violin Concerto No. 3 with The Louisville Philharmonia Orchestra.
Benjamin was one of two winners of the Young Persons Concerto Competition that got a chance to perform with the orchestra. Congrats, Ben.
