Hello! My name is Ashley Bossche, and I’m excited to be joining Crosby Middle School as a 6th grade math teacher. I have six years of experience in education, and I love helping students build confidence, think critically, and feel more comfortable with math.

Hello! My name is Bailey Nitsche, and I’m excited to be joining the 6th-grade Social Studies team at Crosby Middle School. I graduated from Sam Houston State University and will be starting my 8th year in education. I’m looking forward to joining a campus with such a strong sense of community and collaborating with an incredible team to help students grow both academically and as individuals.

I’m passionate about helping students connect with history by making it engaging, relevant, and meaningful. I believe the classroom should be a place where students feel welcomed, challenged, and encouraged to think critically about the world around them.

Hello! My name is Amy Ewing, and I am excited to join Crosby Middle School as the Dyslexia Interventionist. I am entering my 16th year in education and have spent my career supporting students through Special Education. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and develop the skills they need to become successful readers and learners.

Hello! My name is Aaron Heckaman, and this is my 7th year as a teacher. I originally studied music education at Stephen F. Austin State University before transitioning into the ELAR classroom.

Crosby band students had an amazing time at the Stephen F. Austin State University Band Camps! We had 32 CMS students attend the middle school camp and 14 CHS students attend high school camp. Not only did our students work hard, have fun, learn so much, and have amazing end of week concerts, but 10 students earned awards at their Friday concerts!

Thank you so much to the Crosby Middle School Band Boosters for providing partial scholarships to 35 of our band students and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone on a job well done! We are so proud of you!

Several of our 2026–2027 CMS Cheerleaders spent part of their summer volunteering at the Houston Food Bank!
