This quarter, we are honored to recognize the Quilters Guild as one of Vogel’s Community Heroes!

The Quilters Guild has generously donated handmade quilts to Vogel on a quarterly basis. These quilts provide warmth, comfort, and a special sense of belonging for the children we serve.

Each child receives a quilt on their first day at Vogel and sleeps with it every day during nap time. When they move on to another daycare or school and are no longer coming to Vogel, they are able to take their quilt with them. For many children, this quilt becomes a meaningful memory of their time at Vogel — and in many cases, one of the only things they can truly call their own.
We are so grateful to the Quilters Guild for sharing their time, talent, and heart with our children and families. Their continued generosity creates comfort, dignity, and lasting memories for the little ones in our care.

Learning comes to life through hands-on exploration at Vogel 💙🐄

Our students recently immersed themselves in the world of farms and farm animals through stories, discussion, and discovery. During circle time, they read My Day on the Farm, identified animals from the story, counted them together, and explored the sounds each animal makes.

By examining pictures and talking about what they might see on a farm, children expanded their vocabulary, strengthened comprehension skills, and built meaningful connections between books and the world around them.

Moments like these spark curiosity, encourage conversation, and help lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

At Vogel RedBird, our little learners enjoyed a refreshing summer treat while practicing social skills, exploring new tastes, and making wonderful memories with their friends. These are the moments that make childhood special!
