Today we found the sweetest little spot in Comfort, Texas.
Joe had a smoked salmon sandwich with cream cheese, red onion, and the freshest dill I’ve ever tasted. I had the grilled cheese, and we shared avocado toast that was just as fresh and delicious.
And if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I’m always judging bathrooms. 😂 Their bathrooms were spotless, so bonus points for that.
I also tried a gluten-free almond cookie dipped in chocolate—not because I have to eat gluten-free, but because it looked amazing. It was soft, moist, and absolutely delicious.
Lately, I’ve been reminded that joy isn’t always found in the big moments. Sometimes it’s found in a small-town café, fresh food, a really good cookie, and a quiet afternoon spent with someone you love.
If you’re in Comfort, Texas, I definitely recommend High’s Café.

Next stop….Texas legend burger place…Storms…
We never miss the opportunity to try a good burger. This place has been here for over 50 years.
It was a good clean burger , good onion rings and the tiny twins approved.
Next stop….our destination….
We found a gold mine! 💛
One of the best things about road trips are the ‘things’ you discover along the way.
On this trip I discovered that Mother Neff State Park was the FIRST state park in Texas. I had no idea and I’ve grown up in Texas since I was 4 years old.
The RV campsites are impeccable! Joe and I are totally going to come back and camp here! It’s absolutely gorgeous!
We found out that the original area of the state park is closed right now however just seeing what we saw I can only imagine how amazing it will be when that part opens up again.
I love my Gypsy soul and how along the way in the Gypsy traveler the treasures are found.
Come to the bathroom with me….or not lol
Buc-ee’s is a MUST stop on travel days if they show up.
This is my amusement park.
Great restrooms!!!! 🚽
Today is raw, real and a road trip, come along….
But first….Diamond is going to her favorite place on Earth. 🌍
This morning I woke up feeling like an energetic sandbag had landed on the right side of my brain.
The moment I stood up, my whole body did a slow swirl. For a second, it felt like my consciousness had wandered off into another dimension while my body was still trying to catch up.
Thankfully, after more than a decade of navigating spiritual awakening and energy shifts, I knew exactly what to do. Ground. Breathe. Move carefully.
I got dressed for my 7 a.m. Pilates class and headed out the door, still feeling like I wasn’t completely “here.”
Then I saw it.
A hot air balloon floating peacefully across the Texas sky.
And honestly? It was the perfect symbol for how I felt.
Light.
Expanded.
A little detached from the ground.
Yet somehow exactly where I needed to be.
One thing spiritual awakening has taught me is that every layer of growth comes with its own unique experience.
Sometimes it feels magical. Sometimes it feels confusing. Sometimes it feels like your energy got the memo before your body did.
Either way, the symbols always seem to show up right on time.
Today’s reminder came floating across the morning sky in the form of a hot air balloon. 🎈✨
Have you ever had one of those moments where your energy felt somewhere else before your body caught up?
This is all I got….
Coming back on grid…not fully at words yet, lol
So this morning at 5:50 a.m., the entire house went dark.
Not gonna lie...it wasn’t the loss of electricity that got my attention.
It was the fan stopping. 😂
I immediately rolled over and asked Joe, “Is it raining outside?”
Because around here, the only acceptable reason for losing power is apparently a thunderstorm.
Well...it wasn’t raining.
So I grabbed my phone, headed to the bathroom, and did what any responsible adult would do—I checked Facebook to see if anyone else had lost power.
Turns out the whole town was out.
Of course, being me, I couldn’t just leave it at that.
My spiritual brain immediately kicked in:
✨ The world has ended as we know it.
✨ The collective grid just reset itself.
✨ My energy field hit the master reset button.
✨ The Grid of Light finally said, “Enough already.”
You know...normal thoughts. 😆
So I recorded a reel about it, shared all my deep spiritual symbolism and theories, walked back inside...
..and the electricity came right back on.
Apparently the entire town’s power outage was just waiting for me to finish my content.
Happy Friday friends! The grid is back online! lol
Nothing like a vet visit to get your day going.
This morning Diamond 💎 had her wellness visit.
For those of you who are new to my page, 💎, is 10 years old and over the last several years has basically lost all her eyesight. She has been on her own energetic journey of balancing the energies within her body because she lives in the energies of Joe and me.
It was really hard to hear she had an ‘auto immune’ disorder which was creating her loss of vision. It challenged every belief system and no matter how much we tried to clear ourselves, clear her, do medical intervention we finally surrendered to allow her path of sight to play out.
Through months of prednisone to calm the inflammation to watching her drop weight and muscle we are so happy that several years later she has balanced herself out.
She is back up to her ideal weight, she is healthy and has a pep in her step.
The Diamond we know and love has her personality back along with her energy to be interested in life again.
Long live Diamond! 💎
