Education Initiative To Strengthen Students’ AI Literacy, Training 06/15/2026

Artificial intelligence is transforming every industry, and scholars deserve the opportunity to build the skills needed to navigate and shape that future.

Uplift Education is proud to partner with the University of Texas at Dallas through the Future Ready AI Collaborative, a $4 million U.S. Department of Education-funded initiative designed to expand AI literacy, strengthen college and career readiness, and equip educators with the tools to bring responsible AI learning into classrooms. Through this partnership, scholars will gain a deeper understanding of AI, its opportunities, limitations, and ethical considerations, while teachers receive training to integrate AI literacy into instruction.

This work is about more than technology. It is about preparing scholars to think critically, solve problems, and lead in a world where AI will play an increasingly important role across every career field. We are excited to partner with UT Dallas to create new opportunities for scholars and educators across the Uplift network.

Scholar Spotlight ✨

Uplift Summit 11th grader Ramiyah Oliver recently represented her school at the Texas State Affairs Forum through Youth and Government, where she placed 6th in the state for her proposal on racial bias within police stops.

Ramiyah shared that one of her biggest takeaways was learning to step outside of her comfort zone and connect with others.

“It’s okay to be scared, but don’t let fear dictate what you do.”

We are proud of Ramiyah for using her voice, leadership, and passion to make an impact. 💙
