🎓 Senior Spotlight: Collin
As we wrap up our Senior Spotlight series and count down the final days to graduation, we’re excited to celebrate Collin!

Collin has been part of the Vanguard community since 7th grade. Since then, he’s grown into a fun, energetic member of the class with a love for action-packed video games—especially Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

One of Collin’s favorite Vanguard memories is his time in Middle School Classroom 1, where he built friendships and experiences that have stuck with him. He’s also been involved in volleyball and enjoys staying active. Collin says Ms. Trisha is his favorite teacher because she’s “cool and fun,” making her class one he always looks forward to.

After graduation, Collin will be working at Cinemark—a perfect fit for someone who loves movies. His favorite is Project Hail Mary, and when it comes to movie snacks, he’s all about salty pretzels.

Congratulations, Collin! We’re proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next. 💚

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Logan
Logan has been a part of the wolfpack for an incredible 10 years, starting all the way back in elementary school. Over that time, he has built meaningful connections!

Logan enjoys fishing, reading, and cooking—interests that reflect his thoughtful and easygoing nature. One of his favorite Vanguard memories is getting to know people like Ms. Janette, Ms. Julie, and Zelda, highlighting the relationships that have made his experience so special.

While not involved in clubs or sports, Logan has found his place through the connections he’s built and the classes he’s enjoyed. He shares that Mr. Ross is his favorite teacher because of his calm demeanor and engaging computer science class.

After graduation, Logan plans to enroll in junior college and continue exploring his interests as he takes his next steps forward.

Congratulations, Logan! We’re proud of you and excited to see what’s ahead. 💚

Graduation is next Saturday, June 20! Join us as we celebrate the Class of 2026, their journeys, and all of their accomplishments along the way. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Vanguard Parent Happy Hour! It was a wonderful evening of connection, conversation, and community.

A special thank you to Off Script Society for hosting us and providing such a welcoming space for our families to gather. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring our parents together outside the classroom and strengthen the relationships that make our Vanguard community so special.

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Bunny
Bunny has been a part of the Vanguard Worlfpack for five years, starting in 8th grade. During that time, she has grown into an active, caring member of the community who enjoys helping others, staying active, and spending time with animals.

One of Bunny’s favorite Vanguard memories is camp—she loves being outdoors and spending time with the entire high school. She has also been on our volleyball and basketball teams, bringing energy and dedication to her teams.

When it comes to teachers, it’s hard for Bunny to choose just one, but Mr. Quinn stands out for his flexible, student-centered approach and the way his teaching style really clicks for her.

After graduation, Bunny plans to attend Dallas College before transferring to a four-year university, while also working along the way.

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Bruce
Bruce joined Vanguard during his sophomore year. Known for his thoughtful and strategic mindset, Bruce enjoys playing chess and video games, passions that reflect his love for problem-solving and competition.

One of his favorite Vanguard memories is camp, a time filled with fun, connection, and experiences he won’t forget. Bruce has been involved in Chess Club, Robotics Club, and Lego Club, where he’s been able to explore his interests and connect with others. He also shares that Mr. Ross is his favorite teacher—especially because of the many chess matches they’ve played together.

After graduation, Bruce plans to begin at community college before transferring to a four-year university. He’s looking forward to the full college experience and all the opportunities ahead.
