We recently celebrated our Immersion students from 1st-3rd grade completing the program and receiving their diplomas. This diploma recognizes their remarkable efforts throughout the school year as they worked hard to reach the French level of their peers. From learning to understand and speak basic French to mastering reading and writing, they astounded us all. We are so proud of each and every one of them. Allez les Tigres !

On Wednesday, June 10, DIS welcomed new alumni as the Class of 2026 stepped across the stage of the Eisemann Center. It was an emotional event as our graduating seniors were presented with their diplomas and transitioned to the next stage in their academic and professional lives. Bravo, Class of 2026. Allez les Tigres !

Closing out the Class of 2026’s graduating seniors in our annual Senior Spotlight series is Inès Lubin. Inès joined us at DIS this year and is now a graduating senior in our French program. Her fondest memories at DIS were enjoying lunchtime with friends. Inès will be entering the PREPA program at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes (ENSCR) in France to study Chemical Engineering this fall. Félicitations Inès !

Continuing with our Senior Spotlight series, our next spotlight is on Adrien Odier-Foulon. Adrien joined us at DIS this year and is a graduating senior in our French program. This fall, Adrien plans to study Business and is currently deciding among several university options in the U.S. and abroad. Bravo Adrien !

Our next Senior Spotlight is on Salomé Baudry. Salomé has been a student at DIS since the 6th grade and is now a graduating senior in our French program. Her favorite memory during her time at DIS is when her class dressed up as seniors for Halloween. This fall, Salomé will begin studying Engineering at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France. Félicitations Salomé !

Next up in our Senior Spotlight series is Aldric Fournet-Fayard. Aldric joined us at DIS in the 8th grade is now a graduating senior in our French program. His favorite memory during his time at DIS was the TAPPS State Championship soccer game. This fall, Aldric will be studying Aeronautical Engineering and is currently deciding among several university options in the U.S. and abroad. Bravo Aldric !

Today, our GS students celebrated a huge milestone in their lives with their graduation to the first grade. Emotions ran high as students walked across the stage to accept their diplomas and can now look forward to returning as CP students this fall. Congratulations to all!

Today, we continued an annual DIS tradition with the Senior Walk. Our Class of 2026 returned to our Churchill Campus to make their march around campus in their caps and gowns as lower school students cheered them on. After their walk, seniors answered questions from elementary students on what to expect in middle/high school, their favorite DIS memories and how they’re preparing for their upcoming college experience. Bravo to all our seniors !
