What an amazing time — the energy was high, the vibes were fun, and everyone showed up ready to relax, recharge, and connect! A great time after the first big exam!

From smart snacks to pizza, popsicles, popcorn, and even a chance to make your own sugar scrub, the whole event was packed with ways to treat yourself while taking a well‑deserved break from studying.

A huge shoutout to the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions, UT Southwestern Office of Student Empowerment and Engagement and Student Life for hosting such a fun and welcoming space. Events like this make it so much easier to pause, breathe, and enjoy campus life before diving back into the books.

We also loved having several student groups join us to share tips and resources on how to balance academics with social time — because thriving in college means taking care of all parts of yourself.

Today, the PA Class of 2027 embarks on an exciting phase of their education, highlighted by white coat try-on day and the subsequent distribution of coats this summer. So many exciting times awaits!

UT Southwestern Carnaval de Salud was amazing yesterday and special thanks to the Vision Team that provided vision screenings during the event. You truly provided a valuable experience for leadership growth as well as amazing opportunity for the community. Great Job!
