A Queen Takes The Stage!
Native Philadelphian and Curtis graduate Karen Slack and pianist Kevin J. Miller will bring her groundbreaking recital "African Queens" to the Bent But Not Broken conference. The evening will feature newly commissioned art songs honoring seven African queens whose power, courage, and legacy deserve to be heard.
