Chamomile’s flavor and aroma is distinctively reminiscent of apple pie. But it isn’t just a flavorful beverage. For at least 5,000 years, this infusion has been used for all sorts of maladies.
Naturally caffeine-free, chamomile is an aid for insomnia. And not only does it induce calm relaxation, but there’s also evidence it helps with inflammation, gastrointestinal conditions and much more. Link in stories!

Solukhumbu Black is an exceedingly rare black tea grown in what is now the highest tea garden in the world. It comes from Nepal, just 35 miles south of the Mount Everest base camp. Led by a tea visionary named Janaki, her team has experimented with different rolling techniques over the last four years. What has resulted is a tightly rolled, earthy black tea we really love!

In case you missed it in this morning’s email, the Red Panda Smoked Oolong is back in stock! When we launched this tea in November, it sold out in just a few weeks.
Grown in Ilam’s eastern Himalayan foothills, this rare, hand-picked tea is partially oxidized, then slowly oak-smoked for deep notes of charcoal, and dark caramel. Unlike a Chinese lapsang souchong, it offers a balanced smokiness with natural oolong sweetness.
