Taking a moment to reflect on 2nd grade’s spring adventures at the Trinity River Audubon Center among the wildflowers! 🌿🦋🐝
With flora and fauna in abundance, this field trip was filled with animal and insect encounters, curious minds, and meaningful learning around every corner. 💚

Time for some fun facts:
🌳Did you know that the center is part of the Great Trinity Forest, the largest urban hardwood forest in the United States, spanning 6,000 acres!?
🌳Did you know that what is now the Trinity River Audubon Center (120-acre site), was once the largest illegal landfill in Texas, a former farm, and gravel mine?!
🌳Did you know you can explore five miles of trails and nine wetland ponds!?
Wow.

to when our 5th graders turned into gods, goddesses, and heroes! 🏛️⚡
Their Greek Wax Museum was the perfect finale to their mythology unit, full of creativity, storytelling, and a little Mount Olympus magic. A favorite tradition that brings learning to life every year! ✨
