Thank you for an unforgettable week at PMI Summer Music Academy 2026.

Over the past five days, a group of young musicians ages 10–16 came together through piano, cello, and clarinet to create something special.

We are proud to be the first music school in the DFW area to offer a chamber music summer training experience specifically designed for students ages 10–16. At PMI, we believe young musicians can learn so much more than notes and technique. Chamber music teaches listening, communication, teamwork, leadership, and trust.

This week was filled with rehearsals, challenges, laughter, new friendships, and unforgettable musical moments. Most importantly, these young musicians discovered what it truly means to make music together.

We are incredibly proud of every student and all they accomplished in just five days.

PMI Summer Music Academy Final Showcase is tomorrow! 🎶

This week has been a meaningful journey for our young musicians. One of our goals in creating this Summer Music Academy was to introduce chamber music to students at a younger age—not only as a performance opportunity, but as a way to learn how to listen, communicate, support one another, and grow together through music.

Chamber music teaches students that music is not just about playing your own part well. It is about collaboration, trust, patience, and shared responsibility. We are so proud of how much every student has grown this week, both musically and personally.

We can’t wait to celebrate their hard work at our final showcase tomorrow at Steinway Piano Gallery Plano!

Tomorrow we kick off our PMI Summer Music Academy, and we couldn’t be more excited.

For the next week, our students will spend their days rehearsing, listening, collaborating, and discovering what makes chamber music such a special experience. There is something unique about learning to make music with others—learning when to lead, when to follow, and how to create something bigger than yourself.

🎭🎶PMI Musical Theater Camp Starts Today!

Today, our campers begin an exciting week of acting, singing, movement, and storytelling as they bring scenes from Mary Poppins to life!

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Justin Mayer, a professional musical theater performer and educator, who will be leading our students through a fun-filled week of character development, vocal training, stage movement, and performance skills.
