Rooted in Texas history, Juneteenth marks the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston in 1865.

Understanding history can help shape a stronger future. As we honor this day, we recognize the courage, perseverance, and contributions of those who have helped move our nation closer to its ideals of liberty and equality.

May today be an opportunity to learn, reflect, and celebrate the ongoing pursuit of freedom for all.

This summer, through August 10th, campus offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Offices will be closed for holidays or Uplift events on June 1, June 19, July 3, August 6, and August 7.

The Texas Summer Meals program is here to keep your scholar fueled all summer break!

Free, healthy meals will be provided to children and teens ages 18 and under, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21.
