James Elementary

Jaguar Family,

After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, I have accepted a position as House Principal at Allen High School and will be transitioning from James Elementary.

While I am excited for this new opportunity, it is difficult to say goodbye to a school and community that mean so much to me. Serving as principal of James Elementary has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I am incredibly grateful for our students, families, and staff who have helped make this campus such a special place.

Together, we opened a school, built lasting traditions, and created a culture centered on relationships and doing what is best for kids. I could not be more proud of what our Jaguar family has accomplished.

Thank you for your trust, support, and partnership over the past two years. James Elementary will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will continue cheering on our students and staff from afar.

Once a Jaguar, always a Jaguar. 🐆💙

I’m a little late on getting these out, but our 4th graders loved their field trip to the Dallas Zoo! Big thanks to our 4th grade team and all of our chaperones.

We loved celebrating all of our Jaguars today! Our fifth grade promotion ceremony was a packed house. Our 1st through 4th grade classes also had awards in their classrooms today. Today was filled with smiles, laughter, tears, and everything in between. Thank you, James families, for sharing your kids with us this year! It flew by, but we’re so thankful for all the memories.

We had so much fun with our Jags during our field day yesterday! Thank you to all the families who joined us, and thank you to our incredible staff!

Tomorrow, May 21st, is the last day of school and an early release day. We have in-class awards ceremonies for grades 1 through 4, and our 5th grade promotion ceremony as well. Dismissal is at 1:30.

Thank you to our families for your incredible support throughout the school year, our amazing staff for loving and investing in our students each and every day, and to all of our little Jags who will be moving on to 1st grade this fall. We are so proud of you!

It has been a wonderful school year filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our Jags accomplish next year!

James would like to thank our parent representatives for our end of year LPAC meetings. These two parents participated in many LPACs over the last two weeks, and were so thankful for them as both parents and representatives for our campus.

Good afternoon James families! Our kindergarten graduation is tomorrow morning at 9:00 in the big gym at PHS. Unfortunately, the live feed is not working, so the event will not be streamed for those family members who are unable to attend. We hope you are able to attend in-person. We apologize for the inconvenience. There were technical difficulties for last Saturday’s kinder graduations as well. We hope to see you there! 🎓
