Showco Archives
Preserving the legacy of Showco, Dallas’s legendary concert sound company. Discover more at showcoarchives.com Now, I ask for your help.
Sharing rare audio, memorabilia, and crew stories—while working to see Showco recognized by the City of Dallas and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. My name is Indigo, and my journey is one rooted in both personal history and a profound sense of responsibility to honor those who shaped the soundtracks of our lives. My father, Donnie (DK) Kretzschmar, was not only a visionary sound engineer for SHOWCO

Showco in the Wild: Red Rocks Edition.
Taking a rare day off from the archives and catching Amyl and the Sniffers tonight at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in my Showco tee.
Over the years, countless Showco tours rolled through Red Rocks. While audiences love the views, many crew members had a different opinion. The venue is legendary—but those load-ins and load-outs? Not exactly anyone's favorite memory. 😅
Still, it's hard to beat spending an evening surrounded by music history in one of the most iconic venues in the world.
Any alumni have a favorite (or least favorite) Red Rocks story?

The archive never stands still.
This week I've expanded the Jackson Browne, Carole King, and James Taylor collections, while continuing work on alumni profiles and research throughout the site.
One of the most rewarding parts of preserving Showco history is that there is always another story to uncover, another photograph to identify, or another crew member whose contributions deserve to be remembered.
If it's been a while since your last visit, take a look around. You may discover something new.

Before he became one of the most respected monitor engineers in the business, ML Procise was simply "Martin" to his lifelong friends in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This photo, shared by Tracy Evans, was taken during a trip to England in 1978 while attending the legendary Knebworth Festival. Tracy and Martin grew up together in Fort Wayne and later reconnected while she was attending Indiana University, just as his touring career was beginning to take off.
"Martin and I grew up together in Indian Village, Fort Wayne. I've known him my whole life."
Tracy recalls ML helping out the band Ethos in Bloomington before joining Showco and eventually spending much of his time on Genesis tours. Knebworth introduced her to artists like Devo before they had broken big in the United States, along with performances by Tom Petty, Rossington Collins Band, and many others.
Beyond the concerts, Tracy remembers the friendships formed along the way—getting to know Johnny "JW" Roberts and other members of the Showco family, meeting Debbie for the first time, and sharing laughs and memories that lasted decades.
Thank you, Tracy, for allowing me to preserve this photo and story in the Showco Archives. These personal memories help tell the story behind the music—and the people who made it all happen.
