Ed.D. student and Principal of Robert T. Hill Middle School in DISD, Candice Ruiz, was recently featured by The Dallas Morning News in an article about the banning of cellphones in K-12 schools around the state.
As a world changer and trailblazer in the K-12 space, Ruiz adopted a similar policy at her school a few years prior and is able to speak to the positive effects of the policy change on student behavior, as well as address parental concerns.
